Velislav Minekov (1959)
1959 – Born in Sofia.
1978 – Graduated from the Fine Arts High School in Sofia.
1986 – Graduated from the National Art Academy in Sofia with Professor Dimiter Daskalov.
1987–1989 – Specialized metal design in Hamburg with Professor Jürgen Birthe.
Since 1994 has been lecturing at the National Art Academy in Sofia.
Velislav Minekov is a member of the board of the Union of Bulgarian Artists, the Union of Professional Artists BBK in Germany and Honorary Member of the European Center for Restoration and Stone Sculpture in Wunsiedel, Germany. Through-out the years he has realized a number of exhibitions in Bulgaria, Turkey, Dubai and Germany.
