DIS-PROPORTIONAL is a practical fashion seminar focused on an innovative approach to form and visual construction in fashion. Within the seminar, participants go through four main stages. The beginning is set with the analysis and forecasting of fashion trends under the guidance of Nikolay Pachev. This is followed by the development of an individual fashion product on the given topic, related to working with monumental and geometric volumes, deformation of traditional proportions and inspiration from architecture. The third phase involves building a styling concept in collaboration with Ivan Tsutsumanov and Nikolay Pachev. The final stage is a fashion photoshoot, realized with the participation of stylist Ivan Tsutsumanov and photographer Zlatimir Arakliev.

DIS-PROPORTIONAL offers an experimental reading of the body and space through fashion, combining theory and practice in a provocative visual exploration. The exhibition presents the garments made by the participants, photos and drawings from the creation process, as well as the photographs taken.

The presentation is funded by the Central Fund for Strategic Development (CFSD) under the Board of Trustees of the New Bulgarian University.
