ARTCYCLE. 30 Years of Dramatic Art at NBU
ARTCYCLE is an interactive documentary exhibition dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the founding of NBU and celebrates one of its first departments – Theatre. It traces and presents the long-term theatrical activity of NBU – realised performances, participation in international festivals, awards and other achievements. Decors, costumes, props, visual and informational materials as well as documents from various performances, events and initiatives from the repertoire of the NBU University Theatre were used for the creation of each exhibit. Materials and content go through the cycle: RECYCLE - UPCYCLE - ARTCYCLE. Each object of the exhibition is accompanied by an information board or a QR code presenting the performances and events from which the materials were used. The exhibits and initiatives included in the exhibition are located in various indoor and outdoor spaces of NBU. Some of them are mostly informative, others affect the senses, and yet others open new horizons for future artistic projects and invite the viewer to take action. With its 19 objects ARTCYCLE highlights various moments from the 30-year history of dramatic art at NBU.
